BUILDING MOTHER’S DAY BASKETS
WITH HAVEN FOR HOPE
Join us at Haven for Hope on Saturday, April 25 to donate and build Mother's Day gift baskets and bags for the amazing moms currently residing at Haven for Hope! Haven for Hope has a goal of 120 gift baskets/bags and we can get as creative as desired. Bring donation items and let your generosity and creativity lead the way.
Let's make sure Haven for Hope resident moms have a Mother's Day to remember forever!
If you cannot attend the event but are able to donate money or gift basket items, please email Alex Zepeda at alex.zepeda05@gmail.com or Chelsea Mikulencak at chelsea.mikulencak@gmail.com to coordinate item pick-up.
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: Event begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends as soon as we're done building baskets/bags.
Location/parking: Haven for Hope, 1 Haven for Hope Way, San Antonio, TX, 78207.
Please see attached map. We recommend parking at the gold oval (Volunteer Center Parking).
IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION!
Who can volunteer: Parents and children alike are welcome to volunteer!
What to bring: To ensure we have the appropriate amount of needed supplies, BCWB recommends that each volunteer bring/donate enough supplies to make at least 1 or 2 bags/baskets - the event is capped at 60 volunteers.
Haven for Hope suggests the following items, but we can bring items beyond this list: Lip balm; body lotion; bar soap; face mask (for skincare); shampoo and conditioner; an inspirational/uplifting card; baskets or bags (to place the items in). The only rule on the gift items are no glass containers, sharp or aerosol spray items, but otherwise
